Malaysian bikers…

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

I’ve been keeping this thought in my head for a long time now and finally I took the time to put it down into this blog.. If you’re a driver in KL, I guess, you’ll most probably agree with me..

Have you noticed that about 40% (my guess-timate la) motorcycles in KL, have broken / spoilt / unlit tail lights? Especially those kap chais (m’sian lingual for small CC bikes) owned by young teenage malays.. Not being racist here, just my observation while driving on the road. The problem here is that, these bikers tend to ride in groups and they don’t have tail lights to warn you that they’re right there in front of you. You know la, when they ride in groups, they sort of ride in pairs and hog the entire road. Some more, no road discipline, so wave in and out lo.. Like macho superbikers, but then KAP CHAI only. Ha ha..

An additional topic that I want to add here is with regards to our fast food delivery boys on bikes.. Fuh lau eh… Rides damn fast, throttling the bike like there is no tomorrow.. Some more can cut corners, traffic lights, curbs.. U turn also mana mana boleh go.. Like if don’t f^&king deliver the food on time, they’re gonna get fired.. Come one la Mr Fast Food outlets.. Train you guys on riding ethics la.. How to reduce road mishaps if we keep seeing this sort of attitudes on the road..

Some how I feel save, less stressed, and more comfortable riding or driving in another more developed country down south.. Sad to say this..

Thanks to Ed Hooi for this.. I didn’t realise that this is possible. Now, we need to mimic this engine off the human mind and put it into a spam filter. He he, that will be great. :)

Swissotel Stamford…

I was in SG for training this week and had the chance to stay in Swissotel at Stamford. The tallest hotel in SG and I had a room on the 61st floor. The room has a balcony that we can stand out on and the view of SG city is magnificent. With shaky legs and fast pumping heart, I took these shots with my phone.

My car is mended…

Friday, February 17th, 2006

:((… My lovely car was scratched on the second day of CNY by some morons with itchy hands / fingers. A whole bloody six panels of my car body was scratched from the bonnet, all the way on the right side and the back door. Went round town to seek a cheaper way of restoring / recovering from the damage but there is no other way except to repaint. So, no choice lo.. Have a look here.

Three days later the car is now back to normal.. RM630 is the damage to my wallet and bank account.. So, eat plain bread lo for the rest of the month..

What I’ve learnt: Any scratches that you can catch with the tip of your finger nails, can’t be recovered with polishing or auto-detailing.
