Buddha Jump Over The Wall… 佛跳墙兄弟…

佛跳墙兄弟

Last week, while watching a Taiwanese cooking show, my wife took to the fancy of having abalone. And since it was her birthday last week, we took to the road to Nilai to savour the ever popular "Buddha Jump Over The Wall" abalone dish.

The first dish served was the 佛跳墙兄弟, the aroma and the taste is delicious. It was worth making the 30 minutes drive down from KL to Nilai. Overall, the set menu that we had (called Int. Hokkien Gathering) was pretty good. I’ll say 8.5 over 10. So, what you guys waiting for - Go! Go! Go!

**Do note that a day earlier booking is required else you may turn away for several of their popular dishes.

For information on Loon Sing Restaurant, go here. Direction map and phone contact are available there. Oh ya, I heard that the restaurant maybe moving to a new location soon. So, do call them up for confirmation on location.

For a look on the dishes for set menu "5555", go here.

New batch of colas…

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

This week, I’ve got some new cans of coca colas from around the world. Thanks to  EE and LSY for getting me such wonderful souvenirs from their working trips abroad.

EE got me the two cans from China and LSY got me four cans from her various trips to Europe and Russia. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

One can was from my wife’s Indian colleague and the last is the latest Malaysian can.

Now that my display cabinet is filled, I’ve to leave them on the dining table temporarily. Until I can source out another location to safely store them away from dangerous hands.

Oh ya, I’ve also got myself a Seoul Coca-Cola souvenir tee of the street Itaewon. Cost me KRW5000.

a new camera last Sunday and boy was I eager to try it out. Thus, took it back
home with me and started to snap shots of my parents’ garden and flowers. The
one that stood out the most was the white Lotus flower. So, here it is.
