Had been looking for a miniature Gundam to fix for awhile. Finally, during last week’s trip to Singapore, I found something I like, i.e. Gundam Zhang Fei (the ever popular character from Romance of the Three Kingdom).
Another close friend of ours, BTW, got married last Sunday, 21st October 2007, to this lovely lady MW. I had the chance to participate again in the matrimonial ceremony in which, I am the photographer at the groom’s house. They did employ a professional photographer, Max Leong (aka the same photographer from my wedding ceremony last year). I am just the back up.
To cut things short, I took the opportunity to sharpen my skills. The following are the results of my hard work, go here.
Stayed at G-Hotel, Gurney Drive and had good food. Yummy yummy.
The hotel is new and thus the setup is pretty nice but the service is a bit slower to my liking. For shots, go here.
For food, we enjoyed good Japanese food at the Miraku Restaurant, Level 1, G-Hotel. On the second nite, we had seafood at Bali Hai Restaurant, Gurney Drive (very pricey place to be). Not forgetting local flavours, Machalister Road is where we ended up for supper. For shots, go here.
While in Penang, bought these three cans to add to me UK collection of Coca-colas. Bought them from Cold Storage, Gurney Plaza at RM4.99 a can.
Went back home for the Raya holidays and as usual took photos of my parents garden and bloom. For more shots, go here.
A good ole fren of ours (SY) had the chance to travel to Manchester for a week for business. While there, she got us some gifts and a requested MU jersey. To SY, multi million thanks. Muax!
Adding to my Coca Cola collections, now I’ve got three new cans of English Cokes. A small can, a classic 325ml, and a gold coloured Diet Coke.
On top of that, SY bought a "gift" for our little "girl" that is due early next year. He he.. Looks like daddy got to teach you how to watch football and support MU.
Have you seen this fruit before? I’ve not and it looks kinda weird. The english name is called Buddha Palm Citron and there is not much information about it on the web. More photos here.
