My little girl’s full moon…

Well, finally Chloe Chang is now 1 month old.
It has not been an easy month. Living and learning to handle a baby, whom main communication channel is through CRYING, is really strenuous and requires loads of patience / stamina. Adding to the fact that my baby is on strict breast feeding program. when you are breast feeding a baby, feeding time is "as when required" (when the baby cries). Thus, the mother has to be a "milking cow" where she practically has the baby latch on to the breast almost constantly. Of course, this will reduce in frequency over time.
To all going to be first time parents out there, ensure that you go and buy yourself some parenting books for newborn. I am referring to those books that explains to you on what to expect AFTER your little bundle of joy is born. And for god’s sake, READ them. It will help you to understand your baby better and to calm your nerves. For example, I encountered my little girl bleeding a little along with her urine. It freaked me out totally then. But when I asked the pediatrician, "oh, its perfectly normal for a girl".
In addition to that, do find / get a good Pediatrician for your kid (Gynecologist/Obstetrician is only for pregnancy and birth, get it). This is to ensure that the doctor takes his/her time in teaching you the basics (i.e. breast feeding techniques and etc). Else, you will be getting one that will say "oh, that’s normal" and nothing else.
Last but not least for now, she is still a lovely gift to have as your own. Nothing beats that.
