My little girl’s full moon…

January 29th, 2008 by ajcka

Well, finally Chloe Chang is now 1 month old.

It has not been an easy month. Living and learning to handle a baby, whom main communication channel is through CRYING, is really strenuous and requires loads of patience / stamina. Adding to the fact that my baby is on strict breast feeding program. when you are breast feeding a baby, feeding time is "as when required" (when the baby cries). Thus, the mother has to be a "milking cow" where she practically has the baby latch on to the breast almost constantly. Of course, this will reduce in frequency over time.

To all going to be first time parents out there, ensure that you go and buy yourself some parenting books for newborn. I am referring to those books that explains to you on what to expect AFTER your little bundle of joy is born. And for god’s sake, READ them. It will help you to understand your baby better and to calm your nerves. For example, I encountered my little girl bleeding a little along with her urine. It freaked me out totally then. But when I asked the pediatrician, "oh, its perfectly normal for a girl".

In addition to that, do find / get a good Pediatrician for your kid (Gynecologist/Obstetrician is only for pregnancy and birth, get it). This is to ensure that the doctor  takes his/her time in teaching you the basics (i.e. breast feeding techniques and etc). Else, you will be getting one that will say "oh, that’s normal" and nothing else.

Last but not least for now, she is still a lovely gift to have as your own. Nothing beats that.

Ladies and gentlemen… drum rolls…

December 26th, 2007 by ajcka

Let me introduce to you, the newest addition to my family, little Ms Chang.

Our beautiful little darling was born on the noon of 26 December 2007, weighing in at 3.1KG. She decided to choose her own "date" instead of the schedule inducement on the next day. And she timed it so nicely as not to share the same day as papa (don’t wanna share a birthday cake with me kua). lols..

I’m so happy that each time I closed my eyes, I can picture her in my head…

To our dear family and friends, thanks you so much for the care, help and your thoughts. Muaxes to all…

Now, for the photos.. Who can forget the photos.. go here.

Funnies 2…. danger of IM

November 23rd, 2007 by ajcka

While we were chatting online, a guy friend, AC, told me this incident…

He was happily IM-ing along one fine night, when all sudden he got this message from a lady friend, JC.

JC says (11:25 PM):  i waited for u so long

AC’s brain took a tumble while trying to figure out what that message meant.. One wrong thought after another (macam kereta di pandu arah bertentangan di Jalan Sehala) produce the wrong "feeling", but it was shortlived.

AC says: wah… i almost melted…   until…she said…

JC says (11:32 PM): shit wrong screen

See the 7 minutes difference between JC’s first message and the second? Loads of things can go thru a guys mind by then. Poor AC. Ha ha. rotfl

Eye on Malaysia…

During the last Deepavali holiday, 8th November 2007, I took my sister’s family to have a ride on the world’s largest portable ferris wheel, soaring to a height of 60 meters. Being also the first wheel overhanging a lake, Tasik Titiwangsa, the Eye on Malaysia has been here since January. It will be dismantled and moved away by end of the year. So, for those that has not taken a ride on it, please do so by 31st December.

As for the price, we paid RM15 for each adult and RM8 for kids below 12 years old. There are some promotion for Maybank cardholders, aka 15% discount, BUT you need to make the purchase on the front counter and NOT at the ticket counter below the wheel. They DON’T have credit card machine there, so make sure you bring enough cash. For more price details, go here.

On the night of our trip, the weather wasn’t that great coz it was drizzling. Thus, the view of the city from the gondolas were sort of blurry. For photos, go to the album.

What have I been up to lately?

Introduced to us by KC.. Lovely taste of root beer and vanilla cream without too much sugar added. Try them, you will not regret paying more than RM3 for each. You can get them in KL from Cold Storage.

A colleague from Singapore introduced this to the Malaysian office. Since it was sort of a hit with one of my lady colleague, SL, so got to try it lo.. Bought it for less than SGD$13 from Royce at Suntec Tower Four.

A new Coca Cola from Japan at Cold Storage. A tall 500ML can specifically design in collaboration with iTunes promo. Oh ya, I got it from Cold Storage KLCC. Couldn’t get it from Cold Storage The Gardens.

Zhang_fei
Had been looking for a miniature Gundam to fix for awhile. Finally, during last week’s trip to Singapore, I found something I like, i.e. Gundam Zhang Fei (the ever popular character from Romance of the Three Kingdom).

Go see my little Gundam here.
